Don't you love eggnog? Well, I love it and so do many of you. I have collected some recipes for making delicious eggnog on Christmas. I haven't tried all of them but I bet they all will be yummy. Here are few:

Spicy Apple Eggnog

Ingredients
3 cups milk, 2 eggs, beaten, 2 cups light cream, 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon,1/3 c. sugar, salt,3/4 cup apple brandy.

Preparation
In a saucepan eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon and salt are combined. It should be cooked and stirred over medium heat until slightly thickened and thoroughly heated. Do not boil. After removing from heat, stir in brandy. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve hot.

Puerto Rican Eggnog

Ingredients
1 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 cup white rum, or 1 cup water, 3 cinnamon sticks, 4 egg yolks, well beaten ground cinnamon for garnish.

Preparation
All of the milks and the rum are combined in a blender or a food processor. Set aside. Water is boiled with the cinnamon sticks. Cool to room temperature. The cinnamon sticks are discarded.
Combine all of the ingredients except the ground cinnamon and beat well in a blender or food processor in batches. Pour the eggnog into glass bottles and refrigerate until ready to use. To serve, transfer the eggnog to a punch bowl and sprinkle the cinnamon on top.

You can even try them on the coming Thanksgiving if you want to divert from the traditional thanksgiving menu.
